Bolivia's largest solar energy information power plant, Uyuni Power Station, was officially opened. President Morales attended the inauguration ceremony and stated that with its unique geographical conditions, Bolivia will continue to reduce natural gas-fired thermal power generation, expand the development and use of renewable energy such as solar energy, and increase the supply of electricity to neighboring countries while satisfying its own power needs Electricity export.
Small Solar Panel Cost

Uyuni Photovoltaic Power Station is located in Podosi Province, central Bolivia, with an altitude of 3700 meters and an area of 105 hectares. It is equipped with about 190,000 solar panels, with an installed capacity of 60 MW and an annual power generation of 123,000 MWh. More than half of the electricity consumption in the western province covers about 60 counties and cities. The power station cost USD 73.6 million, and began construction in August 2016 by the Bolivian National Electricity Company and the Spanish Northern Power Group.

Off Grid Solar System India
At present, more than 70% of Bolivia's electricity is generated by natural gas thermal power, about 20% comes from hydropower, and the rest is generated by renewable energy such as solar, wind and geothermal. Since 2014, the Bolivian government has begun large-scale construction of megawatt-scale solar power stations. So far, 5 such power stations have realized grid-connected power generation, with a total installed capacity of 150 MW, accounting for 7% of the total installed capacity of power stations in the country.
