The French government has implemented an energy transition investment of 30 billion euros.

The first priority is to build a hydrogen economy. France will invest 2 billion euros by the end of 2022 and 7.2 billion euros by 2030. These investments will be used for research and development activities and industrial electrolysis development projects.

These data show the growing importance of the hydrogen economy in the national energy strategy. The French government will release a new national hydrogen economic plan on September 8.

Enerplan, the French solar energy association, emphasized the importance of
complete solar panel kits solar energy in the production of green hydrogen. "Psolar power generation and other renewable energy sources will jointly form the cornerstone of the great cause of carbon-free hydrogen manufacturing," the industry organization said. "Renewable power storage is a challenge in the next few years. The combination of hydrogen and solar power parks is a very suitable choice."

This investment package includes 7 billion euros for building renovation. However, the only renewable energy source in this category is renewable heating. Enerplan stated that energy-related renovations will allow these buildings to integrate self-supplied facilities as much as possible.

"Whether it is heating or electricity, solar thermal and photovoltaic installations can directly reduce carbon emissions," Enerplan said. "Regulatory measures must be taken immediately to promote the use of solar power for smart charging in all buildings and electric vehicles."

The French Renewable Energy Association SER welcomed this plan to speed up the renovation of buildings.

"However, what is important is that every household in France needs a personal support system that can be really put into use, whether it is for overall renovation work and other types of work, the government should also ensure that the demand is handled quickly," SER explained.

SER also stated that a sustainable recovery will require continued support from renewable energy sources.

In addition, the French government has decided to allocate 11 billion euros for the decarbonization of the transportation industry. In the electric vehicle industry, the government also specially allocates 100 million euros for the development of electric vehicle terminals, in order to achieve the national goal of 100,000 terminals by 2021.
