Total said that the 600-kilowatt photovoltaic system installed on the roof of the terminal building is expected to generate 800 MWh/year of electricity, which is equivalent to the electricity needs of about 200 households in Singapore. The system has the potential to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 300 tons per year.
