Amazon has 310 renewable energy projects

    On April 21, Amazon announced the launch of 37 new renewable energy projects worldwide. This important development will help Amazon achieve its goal of 100% renewable energy in global infrastructure by 2025, five years ahead of its original 2030 goal. The new projects increased the total generation capacity of Amazon's global Solar Generators For Home renewable energy projects by nearly 30%, from 12,200 megawatts to 15,700 megawatts. Today, Amazon has a total of 310 renewable energy projects worldwide, covering 19 countries, further cementing Amazon's position as the world's largest corporate buyer of renewable energy and helping it achieve The Climate Pledge target set in. According to the Climate Pledge, Amazon is committed to achieving zero carbon emissions across all business lines by 2040, 10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement target.

    The 37 new projects announced this time are located in the United States, Spain, France, Australia, Canada, India, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. These new projects vary in type and size and include 3 new wind farms, 26 new solar farms and 8 new rooftop solar installations around the world. So far, Amazon has 310 renewable energy projects, including 134 wind and solar farms and 176 rooftop solar projects.
