South African retailer Shoprite announces its own solar power plant
According to a South African media report on April 21, local time, on the occasion of the Global Climate Summit, South Africa’s largest food retailer Shoprite announced that it will build its own wind and Solar Panel Kit Off Grid solar power plants to contribute to reducing carbon emissions.
Shoprite Group stated that its 21 distribution centers and the top of its stores already have a total of about eight solar panels the size of a football field.
