Germany: Rising renewable energy target drives boom in PV installations
The German Federal Minister of Economic Affairs proposed a package of energy measures, raising the proportion of renewable Solar Panel Sale energy power and proposing to increase the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaics to 215GW in 2030 (previously 200GW), and the newly installed capacity in 2026 to reach 22GW (previously 20GW in 2028), the next 5 German photovoltaics will usher in an outbreak period in 2018;
Germany plans to launch three rounds of tenders in 2022, including ground-based power plants and rooftop photovoltaic projects, with a total tender volume of 5.9GW. It is expected that the newly installed photovoltaic capacity in Germany will reach 7.6GW in 2022, higher than previously expected.
