IEO: Poland will add 2GW of photovoltaic installations in 2021

    According to the International Renewable Energy Institute (IEO) forecast, Poland will add about 2 GW of solar photovoltaic (PV)  Solar System For Energy power generation capacity in 2021, and by 2025, this energy supply will achieve up to 15 GW of input power generation capacity.

    According to IEO, Poland will achieve 6 GW of photovoltaic installations by the end of 2021, which will increase to 8 GW by 2023, and this figure will increase to 15 GW by 2025.

    The Polish power grid system operator PSE revealed that by the end of 2020, the cumulative solar photovoltaic capacity in Poland reached 3,935.74 MW, of which only 2,463 MW was added in 2020.

    From the perspective of installed facilities, most of them come from micro-solar systems of 50kW and below, with a total capacity of 2,973.7 MW, and large-scale power generation facilities with a power of more than 500 kW reaching 75 MW.
