Romania will build a new 90MW photovoltaic project

    The Greek industrial group Mytilineos SA, through its Renewable Energy and Storage Development (RSD) business unit, has signed an agreement with Enel Green Power Romania SRL, a subsidiary of the Enel Group, to sell approximately 90MW Standalone Solar System of solar energy portfolio, including two solar power plants, in Romania. It is planned to realize commercial operation at the end of 2022/early 2023.

    These projects were developed in cooperation with Renergy Power Plant, a mature engineering and renewable energy development company with an important track record in Europe, Asia and South America. The business unit of the Regional Department will be responsible for the further development and construction of related projects.

Solar Panels For Houses

    These solar power plants are located in southern Romania, close to Bucharest. Specifically, the main project is Calugareni, a 63 MW buildable (RTB) solar power plant, scheduled to start construction at the end of 2021. The remaining 26 MW is currently under development.
