Uttar Pradesh, India will build 2GW ultra-large renewable energy project
Recently, the Indian Cabinet led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved the 26:74 joint venture established by Uttar Pradesh New Energy and Renewable Energy Development Authority (UPNEDA) and Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India to build 2GW solar panels kits system price in Uttar Pradesh Very large renewable energy project.
It is reported that the joint venture will have a registered capital of 500 million rupees, of which Tehri Water Development Corporation holds 74% of the equity, Uttar Pradesh New Energy and Renewable Energy Development Bureau holds the remaining 26% of the equity. UPNEDA’s equity investment in the joint venture will be Rs 130 crore.
The initial goal of the joint venture is to build a 600MW photovoltaic project with a total investment of Rs 24 crore (calculated at Rs 4 crore per megawatt).
The state government said that before construction projects, developers should provide competitive prices for solar power and deal with land and grid issues.
According to estimates by the Indian Solar Company, this 600MW photovoltaic power station will provide direct and indirect employment opportunities for 7,200 people.
The ultra-large renewable energy project will be constructed in accordance with the state government's Solar Energy Policy-2017 and the ultra-large renewable energy power plant plan of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
According to the MNRE plan, the project will receive up to 2 million rupees/MW of central financial assistance, or 30% of the project cost (including grid connection costs), whichever is lower.
